[solved] Stimuli presented for a constant time

I tried to present a stimuli for a constant amount of time, say 1500ms, regardless of the response time. In the sequence, I have a sketchpad 1 (with duration 0), keyboard response (with timeout 1500ms), sketchpad 2(with duration "delay"). Here, delay = 1500 - response_time. However, it is not working. Could you please help me out? Thanks a lot!

    Hi Dingding,

The duration is evaluated and prepared before the start of the sequence, so it cannot depend on the response time in this way. A simple inline_script item after the keyboard_response should accomplish what you want though:

    self.sleep(1500-self.get('response_time'))

    Hope this helps!

    Cheer, Sebastiaan
