Problem with changing the display screen number

Hi!

I'm a very new PyGaze/python user and is having some problem changing the screen on which the display is shown. (Great package btw! Thank you developers!!) I tried changing screen number in the default.py file and constants.py file. Neither worked. (Changing background color in either file worked well though.) Currently, the experimental stimuli are automatically displayed on screen 0. I am using a mac, therefore I can set the major screen to be the external monitor in front of my eyetracker. But I'm still wondering if there is a way of changing it to screen 1? Also, the other screen is always black when I run experiments. I'm wondering if there's a setting that allows me to keep my other screen while the experiment is running?

Thanks!
Dian

  • Hi Dian,

Does this problem occur when you use PsychoPy as the display type?

    Cheers,
