OpenSesame Crash:

Were running an experiment with eyelink 1000+, and using the pygaze drift corection.
When it reaches a large error, it doesn't go into the calibration screen, but the eyelink itself does try to reach the calibration screen and then crashes.
The last massage that we get from the .edf file looks like this:

DRIFTCORRECT R REPEATING due to large error L=0.000000 R=2.264182 drift_correction_maxerr=2.000000
Line 22269: MSG 1608558 NO Reply is disabled for function eyelink_cal_result
Line 22270: MSG 1608558 NO Reply is disabled for function eyelink_cal_result

What should we do? How can we change the drift correction so that it will go on to calibration if the error is too high?

Thank you

  • Hi Carmel,

Can you describe in a bit more detail what happens exactly? I.e. the steps in which things go wrong, and in what sense the EyeLink PC itself crashes?

    Cheers,
    Sebastiaan

There's much bigger issues in the world, I know. But I first have to take care of the world I know.
