Bayesian RM ANOVA - Descriptives with CIs

Hi all,

I really like the descriptive plots produced by the Bayesian RM ANOVA table in JASP. Is is possible to output these descriptive values with credible intervals in a table format? If not available in JASP, is there way to do so in BayesFactor in R?

Many thanks!

Charles

  • Hi Charles,

For the descriptive plots JASP uses a two-sided flat prior on the individual condition means. This means that, for this particular model and prior, the credible interval and the confidence interval are numerically identical. To obtain these you could use the one-sample t-test (I think!). Clearly not a very desirable state of affairs -- you could make it a feature request on GitHub.

    Cheers,
    E.J.
