Credible Intervals

edited March 1 in JASP & BayesFactor

I know you can get the credible intervals on the inferential change score statistic (i..e that takes into account the prior information) in R, but is there a way to also get this information through JASP? While you can get the credible intervals on the descriptive statistics, these don't take into account the influence of prior knowledge. Is there a way to get the credible intervals on the differences scores for paired or unpaired t tests in JASP? Thanks in advance!

  • Hi danke147,

You can get the 95% credible interval if you click on "prior and posterior plot". I agree it's not optimal though. Ideally we report this in a table, and allow the user to set the %. I'll make a GitHub issue for this.

    Cheers,
