Error% in Regression?

Hi!

Why is there no Error% in the Bayesian regressions? From my understanding it is corresponding to the estimate of the standard error of the BF, and I do not understand why you would have it for the ANOVAs but not the regressions? I also seem to remember that you at some point did have it for the regressions (but perhaps that is a fake-memory).

Thanks in advance ,

Philip

  • Hi Philip,

Good point. I'll ask Don van den Bergh. We switched from the linear regression in the BayesFactor R package to that in the BAS R package (faster, more options -- we kept the defaults the same though). My guess is that BAS does not give an error%. Of course you could just rerun the analysis a few times and see how much the results differ.

    Cheers,
