Friedman test in R and SPSS yields very different results
Hi everyone,
I'm not sure if anyone can help me with the above problem but I just ran my Friedman tests on the same data in R and in SPSS. SPSS gives me a Friedman test result of p=.012 (χ2(9df)=12.79) and R gives me p=.951 (χ2(4df)=.69). This Friedman test compares participants' feelings of Hostility across five seasons: Summer 1, Equinox, Winter, Spring and Summer 2. Can you help me understand the difference between these results and give me a hint which one is correct?
Best
Anna
