[open] OS 3.01 and 3.02 crushes when font size is defined in variable (on Windows 8.1)

edited November 2015 in OpenSesame

Hello

I tried to define font size as variable and every time I'm trying to edit this, I get a bug report.
It happened before in 2.97 but got corrected, and now it came back.
updating to the newest version didn't help. (other than that I love the new version!)

I will really appreciate you help with that.

Thank you!
Tali

    Hi Tali,

    Thanks for pointing this out. Indeed, if you change the global font-size to a variable (through the script editor of the general-properties tab), an error occurs. That's the error you're talking about, right? (Issue #372)

    For now, what you could do as a workaround, is simply add a small inline_script at the start of the experiment with something like this in the prepare phase:

    # To use a fixed value:
    var.font_size = 10
    # Or to use another variable:
    var.font_size = var.my_custom_font_size

    I don't see a use case for this, to be honest, but it should work.

    Cheers!
