I am trying to load my experiment on my android tablet. I used 3.1.6 to create the experiment. Do I just need to save the osexp file or put it in a zip since it contains a png? How do I do this? Also how do I know the file path to the experiment on the sd card?

The .png and other files should be placed in the file pool. That way they are automatically included with the .osexp file.

Most Android apps don't show the folder structure to the user—but there is a folder structure, just like on other operating systems. On the Google Play store you can find many explorer apps that allow you to browse the file system so that you can clearly what's where.

Hi Sebastian,
I'm having some similar issues finding my experiments on my android device. I'm running honeycomb 3.2 and have previously managed to get them, and find/run them okay. However now the default pathway it searches is 'examples' and when I tell it to go to the 'experiments' folder I created it can only find the gaze demo. The last time I tried it and it worked was last year so I don't know if the updates have had any effects?

The example is always shown, regardless of which path you enter. As I said, you'll have to use an explorer app to know for sure where your experiment is located, and then enter the full path into the OpenSesame runtime. Once you've done that, the experiment will appear, I assure you.

That being said, on most (but not all) Android devices that I've seen, the internal storage corresponds to the /sdcard. And a subfolder called experiments would therefore correspond to /sdcard/experiments. (Note that paths are case senstitive.)
