Problems with OpenSesame installation on Win7, 64 bit

PiaPia Posts: 28

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to install OpenSesame on a different computer (have it already on my laptop).
However, after the installation guide has finished OpenSesame doesn't open (also I didn't remove the checkmark that indicated that it should open) and I also can't find it under the installed programs.
I tried several times and also downloaded it again.
Why could this be and what can I do?
Thanks!
Pia

  • I have the exact same problem. I can use the old version 3.0 but the new version just does not appear anywhere for me to use.

    Hi all,

I run both the python 2.7 and 3.5 setups (v 3.1.6) on a clean win7 x64 test pc and had no problems.

Which old version did run exactly?
Are you sure you have administrator privileges when installing?

    Best,
    Jarik
