Rapid mouse clicking causes OpenSesame window to briefly disappear

Hi all,

I have had an occasional problem in which participants clicking the mouse too quickly causes the OpenSesame window to disappear, leaving a view of the desktop. This is happening while using PyGaze (with an Eye Tribe), but it does not seem directly related to PyGaze. I am using a PC with Windows 7 and pyriment backend. A similar problem just occurred on another experiment of ours that uses the psychopy backend--in this case, it was rapid keyboard presses.

I will try to replicate the issue to provide a better description, but please let me know if any of this sounds familiar and you might have a fix.

Thanks,

Tom

    Hi Tom,

I haven't see this myself. One thing that comes to mind is that certain mouse and keyboard gestures are captured by Windows, because they have a special meaning. Could that be it? Can you reliably trigger this behavior?

    Cheers,
    Sebastiaan

There's much bigger issues in the world, I know. But I first have to take care of the world I know.
