How to Keep Score

edited April 13 in OpenSesame

So I’m creating a peak interval timing experiment. Basically, a tone will go on, and the participant needs to press the spacebar when the tone should end (it take some time to learn the duration). The twist is that on some of the trial participants will receive a reward for their response and on other they will not. The problem I’m having is that I want to create a scorekeeper to let the participant know how many points they have collected & how many to go. I’m not sure how to set this up. I have included screenshots of the experimental trials and the set up I was thinking for the scorekeeper. Any help would be awesome because I’m almost finished and want to start collecting data.

  • Hi,

The attached experiment implements a counter. Depending on whether you want the score to be reset after every block or never, you have to adjust the structure of the experiment.

    Hope this helps,
