  • How are you trying to install it? Like so?

        sudo add-apt-repository ppa:smathot/cogscinl
        sudo apt-get update
        sudo apt-get install opensesame

Maybe ubuntu 17 has newer packages, while opensesame asks for older ones.

Try "pip install python-opensesame" This should install it using python directly.

  • Thanks for pointing this out. I had indeed forgotten to copy some packages to the zesty (17.04) channel. They should be available now.
