Open Sesame with SMI RED 250

I'd like to start using Open Sesame with our SMI RED 250 eye tracker. What I've tried is simply opening the eye tracking template, set the pygaze init to SMI, change the IP adresses and port to those of the SMI and run the experiment. That results in an error that I don't understand: "the specified module could not be found", as a response to File "C:\Program Files (X86)\OpenSesame\lib\ctype\" 'line 362, in __init__ self._handle = _dlopen(self._name, mode).

(see attachment for a screenshot of the full traceback).

What is going wrong here? can you help me?

Thanks in advance!

  • Hi Ellen,

You need the iViewX API. DM me if you can't find it.
