Unexpected Error on Mac

Hi everyone,
I just started using OpenSesame, and I have an unexpected error when I try to run my experiment:

Stopped

The experiment did not finish normally for the following reason:

Unexpected error

I'm using Mac OS X 10.7.5 and OpenSesame 3.1.6. I hope you could help with that issue!
Thanks a lot:)

    Hi Tatiana,
This is weird, because the file it is missing is included in the OS package. Usually these errors are attributable to old OS X versions. 10.7 is quite old and OpenSesame is built on a much newer version of OS X (10.12). Sadly it is hard to guarantee backwards compatibility.
Would upgrading to a newer version of OSX be an option for you?

  • Daniel,
Thank you for your clarification! I think I should do it because I've been hitting other problems with different that are due to the old version of the system.
