Re-preparing a Sketchpad

Basically, I want to use the responses of a subject in an earlier phase to then draw new images in a later phase of the experiment.
Are all sketchpads prepared at the very beginning of the experiment or is there the possibility of re-preparing everything before a new sequence. I cannot seem to find a way to do this and a search of the forums has yielded no success. I don't mind a big pause between phases while the canvases get prepared, but I don't want to be preparing 100 stimuli when only a small subset will be used
Even if you could point me in the right direction, I would be hugely grateful

Many thanks
