Python crashing repeatedly

Hi,

I finished compiling my experiment, and it would run to the end, but it I would get the error message that python crashed. I tried to upgrade to the latest version of opensesame, and now it will crash after the first sequence of my experiment. No idea what to do.

  • Hey,

First thing that you can do, is providing us with more information. Something like the error message, the trace stack, whether the problem always occurs at the same time, etc. You could also upload the experiment. At any rate, based on the information you give it is impossible to make any sensible suggestions.

  • The error message is completely unspecific. Here is my experiment (well, it is almost done). It is an operation span task.

I got it to run, but the problem I was facing had to do with the image files, ( since i had moved the location of the opensesame file) and didn't move the images with it. But python is still crashing at the end of the experiment and items in my loop that I set to run in random order in the Math Sequence, Practice are appearing sequentially.

  • Hi,

This is not going to be a very helpful post but I've the same problem with my experiment and would be forever grateful if anyone could come up with a solution to this :)
