Recoding nominal variables into dummy variables
With apologies for triviality, does JASP's Compute Columns feature have a straight-forward way of recoding nominal variables into dummy variables, while preserving missing values?
I am trying to turn a nominal variable with values from 1 to 21 into a set of 20 dummy variables. The main difficulty seems to be keeping missing values as such. The approaches I have tried all turn missing values into "actual" values.
