OSWeb support for sound recorder?

Dear all,

Covid-19, apart from all health consequences, is also having an impact on research projects with human participants. Many of my participants are pulling out of studies from (understandable) fear to be contaminated...

There is no solution for eye-tracking or other complex experiments, but I was contemplating adjusting some of my and my students' simple behavioral experiments to an online format so that participants (children in my case) could participate from home (with their parents' help).

Since I am using OpenSesame, I contemplated using the OSWeb to export them to JATOS. However, it seems that it does not (yet) support the sound recorder tool -so I can´t record the participants' verbal responses to a task.

Are there any plans for implementing that? Any other ideas? (e.g. calling an external sound recorder and somehow storing files in a Cloud...)

Thanks for any feedback / suggestion

Alexandra
