JASP meta-analisys, tests for diagnosis (sensibility and specificity)
Hi, I’m a student of Medicine and Surgery.
I need to analyze in a meta-analysis Sensibility and Specificity of a method of diagnosis.
I have TP(true positive) FP (false positive) TN (true negative) FN (false negative), so: Se (sensibility), Sp (specificity), PPV (positive predictive value), NPV (negative predictive value), LR+ (positive likelihood ratio), LR- (negative likelihood ratio) and CI (confidence intervals).
How I should use interface of software. I send you an image: what data I should insert in Effect Size? And in Effect Size data error?
Thank you.
Massimo

Hi Massimo,
It seem to me that you have to start by computing Sensibility and Specificity for each study separately. But you need se's for this as well. I am not sure how a classical analysis deals with this (bootstrap?). I will ask our expert.
