How to compare models that aren't listed in the output

Hello,

In the attached screenshot, I would like to compare the best model (3 main effects + one interaction) to a model that contains the 3 main effects + one interaction AND also the three-way interaction. Is there a way to make this direct comparison?

  • Dear AnaOnar,

There is not. JASP respects the principle of marginality, which means that if you have an interaction, the constituent main effects are in there as well.

    Cheers,

    E.J.
