JASP variable locked
Hello, I have some variables in JASP, for example exam scores for different campuses, and for 2 campuses it is a 'scale' type, which is perfect, but for one campus it has it as 'nominal' and I am unable to change this, so when I am doing descriptives etc, it is not giving any output such as minimum, max etc, as it is locked into nominal. I cannot change this, even though I am able to change every other variable type if I wanted to, WHHHYYYYYY I need help please. I am working on a uni assignment and it is due in a few days

Ps. I am using version 12.1
What happens is that one of the cells has text (a string). This may for instance be "NoNumber" or whatever is used to indicate a missing value. You can define these in the Preference menu. Sorry for the tardy response, it is a little hectic at home right now.
