Repeated Measures ANOVA with different variables
Hi all,
In an experiment with two treatments (HN, LN), 7 samples from each treatment were measured each week for 5 weeks.
The measurements consisted of 4 different analyses, each having a different unit.
The 7 samples of each analysis were averaged.
Result is a 10x6 matrix (attached).
My questions:
-do the 4 different variables need to be transformed into a common unit (standardise, normalise, other)?
-is the present matrix lay-out OK for testing H0 that there is no difference between the variables in HN and LN in JASP? (between subject factor is HN-LN, and week as a covariate)
Thanks,
Louis

Hi Louis,
From a quick scan, it seems like you'd indeed be doing an ANCOVA. This seems fine, but you have 4 dependent variables, so it looks like this might be cause for a MANCOVA. However, I see we only offer the MANOVA -- let me add the MANCOVA to our to-do list!
You don't need to standardize the variables.

Dear E.J.
Thanks very much for your reply.
Do you have any idea how long this might take?

Louis
Hi LouisP,
We are just releasing a new version, so it will be in the version after that! So that would be in a couple of months.
Cheers,
Johnny
