Syntaxis examples for testing invariance

Hello everyone,

I am interested in testing the measurement of the invariance of a CFA model in two groups with a 9-item questionnaire (likert answers, 0 to 3), do you have an example of model syntax I can use, or a tutorial/guide to do it with JASP?

Best regards,

Carlos

  • Hi @carequi,

    Thank you for your question.

I refer you to this Youtube tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7rVZXLgOG8, created by Sacha Epskamp. It is a tutorial about measurement invariance in JASP. The difference between the most recent JASP (0.14) and the JASP version on Youtube is that you should use the Structural Equation Modeling instead of lavaan in the SEM module.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

  • Hi,

In Sacha's tutorial one can change the models but in SEM module it is not possible :-(

  • Yes we are revamping the functionality so we hope to have this sorted out in the next version.

  • Good to know!
