Mediation analysis bootstrap
Dear JASP team,
I did a mediation analysis in JASP with the bias-corrected percentil bootstrap based on your tutorial. I checked the paper Biesanz 2010 in your references to better understand this bootstrap method. I did not understand exactly which method you are aplying from the paper in bias-corrected percentil bootstrap: (1) bias-corrected accelerated bootstrapping, (2) percentile bootstraping or (3) a combination of both?
Since these authors did not recommended the method (1), can you please clarify this?
Thank you very much and congratulations on JASP software, fantastic job!
Kind regards,
Sónia

I'll ask the team!
E.J.
Dear Sónia,
you can choose - there's an option for percentile bootstrapping or for bias-corrected percentile bootstrapping. We do not have an option for bias-corrected accelerated bootstrapping: the bias-corrected option produces intervals using the adjusted bootstrap percentile (BCa) method, but with no correction for acceleration (only for bias). Hope this helps!
Hi EJ,
Thank you for your help and quick response.
