Experiment stopped
Dear all,
i have to set up an online experiment for a facial emotion recognition task. So i set up a picture presentation with a rating (multiple choice form) following every picture (sketchpad). Unfortunately the experiment is stopped every time i try to start it. The error message says i chose an invalid variable name, but i have never had that problem before? I am thankful for every tip!

As in the previous thread, could you upload your experiment here, by clicking the paperclip icon below? I'm sure we can find out what's happening with the variable. Perhaps the special characters?

Hi @LenaJablonowski ,
Apparently, OpenSesame cannot handle special characters in item names. If you rename "Instruktionen_Bildpräsentation_2" to "Instruktionen_Bildprasentation_2" (no umlaut), the issue should go away.
Additionally, I cleaned up this experimental file too (see attached). As in the previous post, you should use variables rather than creating every sketchpad separately.
