JASP - Using Test Limits to Calculate Cpk/Remove Outliers etc
Hi, I am new to JASP so apologies if this has been asked before or obvious to do. I have loaded in a dataset and each parameter has a set of limits (upper and lower). Is it possible to use these limits in any of the plots and can you use these limits to perform Cpk (process capability) analysis etc. Would also want to remove outliers if they grossly fail these limits. Thank you!

Hi Joedoc,
So you already have the limits as computed from some other stats program, and then you wish to plot them? I don't think that's possible right now (you could issue a feature request on our GitHub page, for detail see https://jasp-stats.org/2018/03/29/request-feature-report-bug-jasp/). Wrt process capability, we are working to add a comprehensive set of quality control methods, and we expect to have a first version available a few months from now. We have been putting in a lot of effort already.
Cheers,
E.J.
Hi E.J. thank you for your feedback. JASP looks to be a great package and very user friendly. It would be nice to have option of including limits and measuring Cpk etc. I will look at the feature request page. Thanks.
Thanks for the graphs and explanations! I hope we will have what you're asking for soon, but we welcome future suggestions for improvement so let us know your thoughts (as I said, it will take a while before we have added this functionality but we're working on it)
Cheers,
E.J.
Sounds good EJ, thanks for your quick feedback.
