Downloaded data didn't save as .txt files

Hi there,

I tried exporting results but the files didn't save as .txt files. In fact there was no file extension and therefore couldn't be read. This was done on Windows.

I then tried using my Mac, results were able to be downloaded as .txt files. I then tried to download OpenSesame on my Mac but for some reason it couldn't run as Mac gave the following warning:

Now that this method didn't work, I tried emailing the .txt file to myself, and tried opening it with the software on my desktop, but I got the following error message:

Can someone please help? I thought it was going to be a simple process (the tutorial made it look so easy) :(

Thanks in advance.

At least the missing '.txt' file suffix is a JATOS issue ;)

In Firefox JATOS doesn't put the ending '.txt' to result files. In Chrome, Edge and Safari it works fine. This is already fixed in the upcoming JATOS release. In between you can just rename the result files by hand and add the missing '.txt' suffix.

    Best,
