Moderation analysis with one categorical predictor, one interval variable and covariates

Hi all,

I recently downloaded JASP and I am wondering of there is a way to conduct the following analysis with it (I know that R is one of the options, but I hope there is a way to do it with JASP, too):

  • it is a moderation model with 2 predictors, one categorical (yes/no) and one continuous variable;
  • there are 3 continuous covariates;
  • the moderation is between the categorical and the continuous variables;
  • the dependent variable is continuous.

Is there a way to conduct this analysis?

Thank you in advance,

Mila

  • Hi Mila,

    Hmm. Well if it can be coded in lavaan then it will work. I'll ask our expert.

    Cheers,

  • Hi Mila,

    the first part of the mediation and moderation blog should describe exactly what you need: click. The covariates can just be added as additional predictors.
