ANOVA post hoc tests
Hi team,
How can I perform ANOVA post hoc test "Tukey-Kramer" in JASP? From some reading:
- Tukey is used for equal sized groups.
- Tukey-Kramer is used for groups which are not equal in size.
- Tukey and Tukey-Kramer are most acceptable general methods of post hoc tests.
Thank you,
Sameha

Hi Sameha,
Do you mean you are unable to find this test in JASP?
Cheers,
E.J.
Hi EJ,
Attached is the list displayed in JASP. Tukey-Kramer is not in the list.
Thank you,
Sameha
Hi @Sameha,
JASP uses the emmeans package (specifically, its 'contrast' function) for the the post hoc tests. When Tukey is checked, it will use Tukey's correction and when the group sizes are unequal, it will automatically adjust for this (i.e., perform the Tukey-Kramer comparison). See also here and here. It would be good to add a note to the output table to clarify this.
Cheers,
Johnny
