Smooth Pursuit

edited October 2021 in OpenSesame

On this page in Github (opensesame_eyemovement_plugins), you write about vertical, horizontal, and the frequency and amplitude can be adjusted for smooth pursuit tasks.

I have 12 tasks in my project about smooth pursuit, the same as your explanation (vertical, horizontal, and combination).

now I have some questions that I hope you can help me with:

1- Do you have any codes for analyzing these signals and extracting different parameters of smooth pursuits, such as gain?

2- Is it possible to classify different saccade events such as catch-up or anticipatory in them (find these events and count them)?

3. Do you have any suggestions to plots these different tasks for publishing in a paper?

I appreciate in advance your kind attention. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

  • Hi Mehdi,

For details @Edwin would need to help out, but I suggest you check out the github page of PygazeAnalyzer (not sure whether there is a documentation).

    Good luck,

    Eduard
