Flanker task not showing the stimuli fully

I am a very new user to OpenSesame. But I did manage to get the experiment running for my Eriksen Flanker test. However, in between, a few of the stimuli dont show up fully.. by that I mean if the stimulus was supposed to be "<<><<", it only shows "<<><".. It misses out the last "<" in the stimuli.. This is one example. I found that the last < or > of the stimuli somehow doesnt get displayed..
Does anyone else have such an issue or is it just me? I have tried to reduce the screen size and the font size of the < to make sure it wasnt just pushed out of the display window.. So any other suggestions regarding this would be really helpful

So the issue occurs only sometimes? But not always? Which backend do you use? And did you try other backends?

I have exactly the same issue here. I've tested all the available backends : same problem. I'm using the 3.0.6 version (I must use this version for pedagogy purpose). There might be a tag creating somewhere.
Like if I use the ">" sign here, i'm creating a quote...
For me, the (non-satisfying) solution is to switch from arrows to plus and minus signs.
