Managing participants data in different states
Hi,
I'm running my open sesame experiment online and I'm not sure what is the best way to manage participants' data in different states including failed and aborted trials.
As you can see in my screenshot, currently I need to deal with the data with RESULTDATA_POSTED and FAIL. Is it better to delete failed data while waiting for the RESULTDATA_POSTED to be FINISHED, or do I need to delete or group them all together to ignore in analysis?
It will be very helpful if anyone can share or recommend possible ways I can take to manage them in such states. Thank you!

Hi,
I think Jatos is a better place to ask that question. Maybe they have filters that only finished data are exported?
Thanks, and yes I'm only using the data with FINISHED status.
Hi,
JATOS' result page has the possibility to filter (see screenshot). The easiest to filter for all 'FINISHED' results is to filter for 'FINISHED' and activate 'Aa' to keep the capitalization. The filter searches everywhere in the table for this term and only those rows are kept that have it somewhere.
Then click on 'Select' / 'Filtered' and finally 'Export Results'.
There are many more possibilities the result page offers (e.g. RegEx filters or 'Filter Builder' with logical operators). And you can always just select manually the results you want to export by clicking in each row the checkbox in the second column. The 'Export Results' or 'Export Files' button always export your results in the end.
Best,
Kristian
