[solved] the procedure cannot show up on the full screen
Dear collegues,
When I click "run" in opensesam, the experimental procedure only show up part of the screen not full screen mode. Does anyone knows how to modulate or what to do so that the procedure can present full screen?
Best,
Olivia

Hi @Oliviaaa,
I'm not sure from your description what you're trying to do exactly.
There are different ways to run your experiment in OS, plus you can can run it in OSWeb. In OS, only the "Run full screen" will run your experiment in full screen. If you're running it in a browser OSWeb, you need to go to Tools/OSWeb and check the "Make browser fullscreen" option to run the experiment in full screen.
Hope this helps.
Fabrice.
Dear Fab,
Thank you for your explanation. I chose to the "Run in full screen” click, but it only show up on part of the screen (see attached picture). I don't know how to make it full screen.

Hi @Oliviaaa,
Could you upload a basic version of your task to try it out?
Fabrice.
Thank you Fabrice!
I just found a notice in the procedure and I think maybe i should change another version of the opensesame.

Hi @Oliviaaa,
(to make sure I get notified of your replies, please use handlers; type @F in this chat and you'll see a pull down menu from which you can choose my username; handlers allow users to be notified when a message is addressed to them)
If you upload a basic version of your task to this thread, I can take a look. The version of Open Sesame should not be the issue for the problem you mentioned. However, based on the picture you sent (it's very small and not possible to see well), it looks as if you're using scaling in Windows. This is an issue related to your display setting in Windows, not related to Open Sesame. You're apparently scaling your display to 75%. This might affect the way thigs are displayed in Open Sesame. Try resetting the scaling to 100% in the display settings of Windows and see if it helps. If scaling is important to you and you prefer not to reset it to 100%, my advice would be to adapt your program in Open Sesame so that everything fits within 75% of the full screen.
Kind regards,
Fabrice.
Dear @Fab ,
Thank you so much for your explanation again! The problem has been solved! Yes, it is the issue of my computer scaling!
