JATOS stretched screen
Hello to all,
My experiment on Open Sesame works well but when I put it on JATOS, I can't see the instructions anymore, the screen is stretched...
What can I do to fix this?
Thank you in advance

Hi!
I'm pretty sure this is not so much a JATOS problem but an OSWeb one. JATOS doesn't care for the things that happen in the browser. JATOS cares for the 'backend', delivering the files, storing result data, user and participant management. I'll move your question to the OSWeb forum.
Best,
Kristian
Hi @EstelleArdanouy,
Kristian is right; the issue must be to do with the settings of your task in OS. Does the task present correctly when you run it in OSWeb? (i.e., launching it through the browser from OS). Have you checked your browser's console for any error message?
Best,
Fabrice.
Hello,
Thank you for your answers.
Indeed, when I try to open in OSWEB, I get an error message that says "compatibility check failed".
However, when I run the experiment in the brows, everything works except this stretched screen at the beginning.
I don't know how to send my experience ; may be it can help ?
Sorry, i think i'm really terrible...
Estelle
Hi @EstelleArdanouy,
You're not terrible; everybody starts from the beginning 😉
I'm a little confused as to how you run your task in your browser if you get a "compatibility check failed". Running the task in the browser is running your task in OSWeb...
The compatibility check should list what the problem is. What is the message you get? You need to fix that problem before you can run your task in the browser.
To upload your task, simply click on the attachment icon at the bottom of the message box:
Hope this helps,
Fabrice.
Thanks for your understanding !
When i try to import my file .osexp ; the website told me "Request failed with status code 413"...
You can find the task here:
Thank you very much !!!!

Hi @EstelleArdanouy,
I only just saw your message by chance while looking for something else. There are so many messages that I don't always spot when people reply to me unless they use my handle in the message. When replying to a message, the best way is to type @ followed by the first letter of your correspondent. A list of handles will appear from which you can select the person you are replying to. That way, that person will receive a notification when logging into the forum and so it is less likely that your message goes unseen.
Example: Type "@F" and you'll see my handle pop out:
I tried to download your task but by now the link has expired. Could you possibly post it again?
Best,
Fabrice.
