RBG/HTML color values for background

Hi everybody!

I have a quite "easy" question, however, I have not found the information online and want to include it in my paper, so I would be very happy if you could help! Do you know the RGB//HTML color values for the background color "grey" in the xpyriment backend? Thanks a lot!

Best, Lisa

  • Hi,

if you click on the Experiment item in the overview area (first item in your sequence), you should see the general info of your experiment, like in this figure. In there, check what is set in your Foreground and Background fields. Normally you should see a HEX code, if not, you can click on the color-palette symbol and check there. To convert HEX to RGB you can use google.

    Hope this helps,

  • Hi Eduard,

Thanks for your reply! I have already tried this, but unfortunately, when clicking on the color-palette symbol, not the current color is displayed but white, and grey is not even displayed:

Do you know any other possibility?

  • Oh yeah I see, sorry.

I think it should be #808080 (RGB 128, 128, 128), so exactly the middle.

To be sure, you can set the foreground to this HEX, and check whether the foreground "disappears"

  • Hi Eduard,

Thanks a lot, this seems to be the right value! I tried your suggested test, and the writing was not visible.
