Mindprobe does not show two images at the same time
Hi everybody!
I am not sure whether this is the right place to post this. In case, feel free to move to the right discussion section.
I am coding with jsPsych 6.2 an experiment where an image and a square should be simultaneously presented. The square should then disappear after 200 ms, whereas the image should last alone on the screen for additional 800 ms.
This works fine when I test the experiment on my local jatos. However, when I export the .jzip folder and upload it on mindprobe, the square always appears before of the image.
The .jzip folder is 53.5 MB. Could that be too heavy?
Cheers,
Tony

Hi Tony,
my first thought would be that the image takes some time to load, and when you test it locally you don’t see this delay because you don’t need to transfer anything though the internet.
Two questions: where are your image files located?
i think there’s an option in jsPsych to “preload” all images. Did you look into this (sorry I don’t have more details)
best
