[META ANALYSIS] Different oupout in coefficients table

Hello,

I was using a old version of JASP (11.1) and when I did :

Classical meta-analysis with one factor, without intercept in the model, the coefficients table in the outpout gave me a z value for each group of the factor tested:

group a ---- z value

group b ---- z value

But, I have installed the lastest JAPS version (16.0) and when I do the same thing, I now get a different outpout in the coefficients table,

There is just one z value: "factor (group b) ------- z value"

But I would like to have the z value compared to zero for the two groups of my factor (group a and b). Do you know how I can get this in JASP 16.0 (it is no longer possible to install version 11.1) ?

Best regards,

Pierre

  • I have the same problem. Did you find a solution?

  • I forwarded your message to our meta-analysis expert.

  • If you uncheck the intercept in the model then you should get a z-value for both groups, testing their mean agains 0.
