Error Code: Out of Memory
Hi all,
We are running an experiment through lab.js on MindProbe and are running into a reoccurent issue where the participants are receiving the error code "out of memory" before and during the experiment. The participants have also reported that their laptop/desktops are freezing during the experiment which prohibits them from continuing with the experiment.
Has anyone else run into this problem and is there a way of solving this issue? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi,
An "out of memory" error sounds like your study uses up a lot of resources on the participants browser. It does not sound like a JATOS / Mindprobe problem. I monitor the memory usage on Mindprobe and there is some left. Did you try your study on a computer with lower memory, e.g. 4GB? Do you load a lot of images, videos, or audios (that need a lot of memory) in your study?
