Label Change Crash (Linux)

Dear people,

JASP crashes every time I try to change a label.

I already tried to use this command:

flatpak update --user --commit=212d267860a3001081816007b074dd57993335aec23485c082d40034c6a5b857 org.kde.Platform/x86_64/5.15

(from: https://github.com/jasp-stats/jasp-issues/issues/1360)

but unfortunately I get this:

error: org.kde.Platform/x86_64/5.15 not installed

(several forum didn't find a solution for that problem:

Is there another solution or does someone have another idea?

Thank you so much in advance for help

Greetings

Jonathan

  • Hi Jonathan,

This is really frustrating. I do believe we have this fixed, but I am not sure. This is a typical GitHub topic though. I'll forward this one to the team though.

    Cheers,

    E.J.

  • Hey Jonathan,

This issue https://github.com/jasp-stats/jasp-issues/issues/1424 describes the problem and the same solution you posted.

Maybe `flatpak update --commit=212d267860a3001081816007b074dd57993335aec23485c082d40034c6a5b857 org.kde.Platform/x86_64/5.15` does what you need?

Anyhow, we have fixed the bug and are in fact hard at work to create a testversion. The release should be here in a few weeks.

    Cheers,

    Joris
