Random Forest Tutorial

Hi, I have found the JASP student user manual along with number of publications very helpful. I'm now exploring Random Forest and was wondering if anyone knows of a demonstration of the theory, application, and interpretation of Random Forest outputs within JASP? Thanks in advance!

  • Hi ClintR,

What you could do is use any textbook on this topic, and analyse the example data with JASP. Our machine learning module was inspired by James, G., Witten, D., Hastie, T., & Tibshirani, R. (2013). An introduction to statistical learning. Springer New York. You will also get some additional information in the associated help file.

    Cheers,
