Specify directory for jatos.uploadResultFile?

Is there a way to specify the directory for jatos.uploadResultFile in addition to filename?

Thanks!

If you have access to your JATOS server and its configuration you can specify the path of the folder where all uploaded result files (from all studies) will be stored: https://www.jatos.org/Configure-JATOS-on-a-Server.html#uploading-of-study-result-files.

But apart from this you can't change the path. But I'm curious why would you like to change the directory?

  • Hi Kristian,

Thanks for your reply! I am collecting audio data that I would like to keep organized by study and participant using folder names. I.e., for a given study, I would save the audio data within the study's study_assets_root directory, and within that, I would dynamically generate a folder named for each participant.

It's no big deal, as we can instead just organize our files when we process the data after-the-fact via the .txt data file.

  • I understand. No, saving files directly in the study assets folders is not supported.
