[solved] differentiate mouse right or left click

edited October 2013 in OpenSesame

Hi all - I am quite new to OpenSesame (and also to Python). I am setting up a simple two-choice visual discrimination test and would like to collect responses as right or left mouse clicks, i.e. the participant will have to press the left button if the positive stimulus appears on the left side of the screen and the right button if it appears on the right side. I figured it would be an easy thing to do, but I can't find out how to differentiate right or left mouse clicks. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
