URGENT - Memory & legacy issue
Hi All,
I am working on an exp and I am having a few issues.
Firstly, I've found that trying to run the experiment using the legacy backend, doesn't work because it says that it can't find any of the audio files (see image titled 'legacy_error').
Running the Psycho (powerful stim generation), seems to work, but results in heavy delays between the pieces of content, so this won't work either. Abut half way through the experiment, it presents a memory issue.
I've downloaded the most recent version of Opensesame thinking that this may have been the issue, but still nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@eduard - sorry to call you out, but you're always so helpful!

for some reason, it wont let me attach an image of the memory error, so I've attached it here (i will update it when I manage to get it to work):

I found the issue - it was the bitrate of the audio. It didn't like it.
For anyone else having the same/similar issues - 44100Hz and 16bit wav files seemed to do the trick for me. Then you can just change the sample rate in the backend
