[solved] sending initiate EEG acquisition trigger from OpenSesame

edited January 2014 in OpenSesame

Could anybody advise on how to go about sending a trigger to my EEG acquisition system so that data recording starts as soon as run is selected in OpenSesame? So as not necessary to hit record on the acquisition system just before running over to the stimulus system to hit run on the experiment. I am using Biosemi ActiveTwo with ActiView software. My stimulus system is running Linux and my acquisition system is running windows XP

    Hi Joshua,
I am about to start a new research project soon to test EEG using opensesame and BioSemi. In the past I have been using Neurobs Presentation to send the triggers.
I would be grateful if you could share your experiences and possibly sample code to compare the two systems.
    Thanks
