Solved issues with the file pool

I have been using OpenSesame for 8 years now, and since the beginning have had issues with the file pool. Often when uploading the task somewhere and the downloading it somewhere else files are missing from the file pool. Again, today I had this problem: An image in our final experimental phase was missing (while all other [.wav] files were there). I am not sure what causes this issue, but it would be great if it could be solved in a next OpenSesame version!

  • Hi jsneuro,

That sucks. Could you maybe open an issue on Github? Ideally you would also add some information under which circumstances these issues happen, provided of course you can see any systematicity.

    Sorry,

  • Since the title of this topic says it is solved, is it actually solved now? I couldn't find the Github issue.

I have also been having this problem since forever, and just had it again on 3.3.10

I have the feeling that it often happens when I save an experiment under a new name, which I often do so that I have a copy of the old version.

  • Hi Jasper,

As far as I know, no report has been made. No idea whether the problem is solved for @jsneuro or not. Anyway, maybe you can make your own bug report? Or check the (correct) Github repo: https://github.com/shyras/osweb/issues?q=is%3Aissue (the previous one was opensesame and not osweb).

    Good luck,

    Eduard
