Hi,

I have created 2 tasks that have always worked without a problem, but lately I am experiencing that the experiment will not start, without reporting a particular error to me. Only the words ITEM-STACK "" appear and I don't understand why. I have updated the version of opensesame and also my pc, but it keeps starting sometimes yes sometimes no, very unpredictably.

Help me please.

    Hi @neuropsy ,

    The "Python seems to have crashed" message probably indicates an unlucky interaction between your experiment and the system it is running on. In doesn't mean, in any case, that there's an error in your experiment (which makes things even more difficult to debug). If you haven't done so, you could try:


    • Using different backends
    • Running your experiment on a different computer
    • Removing elements/simplify the experiment until you find out what triggers the error message
