Network Analysis in JASP - Binary dependent variables and IsingFit

Hi,

I am wanting to conduct some network analysis with JASP using:

1) Just binary variables

2) A mix of binary, ordinal and continuous

Should I just use the  EBICglasso as shouldn't this automatically detect the correct measurement scale of variables from raw data?

I know IsingFit in R fits fits Ising Models Using the ELasso Method but JASP is nicer as produces nicer graphs and metrics.

Your assistance here would be most helpful.

Thank you

Jo

  • I am thinking of a mgm model for 2) but do not believe this can be done in JASP?
