Ordinal logistic regression

Is there a way to perform ordinal logistic regression on JASP instead of using binary dependent variable?

Thanks!

  • Hi Ravi,

I don't think we have this yet, but I'll ask.

  • Dear @ravigarg415,

it is indeed not possible in the current JASP version. However, we recently implemented multinomial, ordinal, and Firth logistic regressions as new options in the GLM analysis. This will be available in the next JASP release which is coming very soon!

    Hi,

I am trying to find the multinomial logistic regression in the last version of JASP (v0.17.1) but I cannot find it. From what I understand from Simon's post, this option is available in the GLM analysis. But I don't understand how to run it. Is there any sort of instructions for it?

    Thanks,

    Gabriel

Oops, never mind! I found it. For those over the internet looking for it, it is somewhat hidden. You have to select the option "Other" for "Family" and then "Multinomial logistic regression" for the 'Model" option.

  • Wow, thanks for the tip, you're right it's well hidden--I told a student recently that JASP didn't seem to do multinomial logistic regression just yet!
