Covariate in proportion test

Hello, I need your help to choose the

best test for research.

I want to check if people do not have a

preference between two objects.

Therefore, I'm conducting a Bayesian

binomial test on JASP.

However I would like to check if this

absence of preference is not challenge

by the level of depressive symptoms.

How can I check that on JASP?

Alternatively I can use R but I'm a

beginner with this software

  • I think you might be looking for Bayesian logistic regression (where the level of depressive symptoms can be a predictor), which will be in one of our next versions...

  • Thank you for this suggestion. Do you have some tips or tools to easily compute a Bayesian linear regression before its availability on JASP?

  • You mean Bayesian logistic regression. We will implement what is in the BAS R package from Merlise Clyde.
